Mr. Adeniyi Omikunle
Mr. Omikunle is the Senior Consultant of The Hill City Consulting, a trained social psychologist, researcher, management trainer and development project management specialist with first and second degrees obtained from the Obafemi Awolowo University (2000) and the University of Ibadan (2007) respectively.
He is a an experienced training coordinator and facilitator who has coordinated training programmes in and outside Nigeria and facilitated several topics in the areas of personal and self development, applied management, social development, project management and information and communication technology (ICT). He is also knowledgeable and skilled at business networking, proposal marketing and programme design and management.
Mr. Omikunle has worked variously on several World Bank-assisted projects in Nigeria which include the State Education Sector Project (SESP) in Kwara where he served as Contract Manager under the School Development Scheme (SDS) and the Teachers Professional Development (TPD) components for one of the consulting firms in 2008. He was also the consultant on Mid-term Review of the SESP in Kwara State (2009), an assignment where he carried out a project-wide review of the SESP in the state in order to determine project status, achievements, emerging issues, problems and challenges as well as make recommendation and propose action plans for project success. He is presently the World Bank Field Coordinator for the Interactive Lagos EReader Assessment Project (iLEAP) under the World Bank-assisted Lagos EKO Project.
Other assignments include those he carried out under the World Bank-assisted Community-based Poverty Reduction Project (CPRP) in Ekiti, Kogi, Osun and Kebbi states; the National Fadama Development Project II at the national level, the Local Empowerment and Environmental Management Project (LEEMP) at the national and state levels, the Economic Reform and Growth Project (EGRP) at the national level, and the African Development Bank- assisted Institutional Reform and Good Governance Project at the national level.
He has also actively served as consultant to several federal and state governments Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals most noticeably of which include the States’ Universal Basic Education (SUBEBs), the National Commission for Nomadic Education (NCNE), the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), the Bureau for Public Service Reforms (BPSR), and Ministry of National Planning amongst others.
He is member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and a chapter executive member of Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (IMCON).
Mr. Ekeyi, Christopher Ayegba
Mr. Christopher Ekeyi is the Course and Development Coordinator for the The Hill City Consulting who has been involved in the conception, development, organization and coordination of several capacity building programmes (Internationally and locally) for multi-lateral and bilateral development project teams across Africa Continent. His activities centres around training-need identification, development of Need-specific and general training programmes, including the development and editing of several training and research proposals and reports in the fields of project management & implementation, financial management, result-based monitoring and evaluation and project impact assessment, management information systems, procurement and general operations.
Some of the training programmes organized and coordinated by Mr. Ekeyi include the Training on Total Project Management, Financial Management of Donor-assisted Projects, Participatory Leadership and Good Governance, Management Information Systems in Result-based Monitoring, Project Procurement of Works, Good & Consultancy Services, Result-based Monitoring & Evaluation (RBM&E), Management of Consultancy Services for Project Procurement Officers of World Bank funded Projects, Project Report Writing & Presentation Development Skills, Subject Officers on Script Writing and Radio Production for Interactive Radio Instruction (IRI) held at different times in Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’ Ivoire, the Gambia and Sierra Leone between 2007 and 2009. He was also involved in the Needs Assessment Survey of Communities in Zamfara & Gombe States for African Development Bank sponsored Community-based Poverty Reduction Programmes, by the National Planning Commission (NPC) from November 2005 – March 2006.
Mr. Ekeyi, who had his 1st degree in Sociology, possesses Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Corel draw. He also has excellent language proficiency; adept in learning new languages. Speaks, writes and read English, Hausa, Yoruba and Igala Fluently.
